Teaching English in Daegu Korea
Daegu, also spelled Taegu, is a city where the majority of Travel and Teach teachers go to teach in Korea. It is an affluent city and is the third largest metropolis in South Korea. It is right on the railway lines so it is easy to travel around the country. It is the crossroads to access any and all points in Korea.
The city has one main downtown core and is surrounded by mountains, provincial parks and temples — it offers teachers the ‘best of both worlds’.
Daegu Dalseo Poly School
Daegu Dalseo Poly School is one of the schools that Travel and Teach has worked with the longest. We have sent multiple teachers there every year who all report back that they love their time there. If you are looking for a warm and welcoming work environment, this may be the school for you!
“This school was great. I really was surprised by the level of care that the director takes with her teachers. I have felt comfortable here since day 1. “
