Geoje is a city that is located in the South Gyeongsang province which is just off of the coast of Busan City in Korea. Geoje City is made up of a number of little islands, with Geoje Island itself being the largest. The city of Geoje offers a range of tourist attractions, so it is a popular destination for Koreans that are located in cities along the coast as it is accessible to the main land in Korea by a short ferry ride away.

The school was established in 2002 and has grown in number of students and teachers every year since. The director is a very nice woman who treats her teachers like family. The school is located near many beaches so after teaching for the day, you can take a trip to the beach with your fellow co-teachers.
